Bolga Fan XL Ghana

Bolga fans originate from the Upper East Region of Ghana West Africa  They have handwoven by artisans of the Gurune people using local elephant grass & finished with a wrapped leather handle.  The tradition of weaving these functional, handheld items stems from the deep rooted basketry and straw-craft heritage of northern Ghana.  This technique has been passed  down threw generation.
