 Sun Bobo-Bwa Wooden Mask  - 90cm in diameter - wall hung 

Hand-carved in Burkina Faso for agricultural ceremonies  to promote healthy harvest.  The masks symbolize protective spirits who purify the land for successful planting and harvesting.   When worn at night during  performances around a fire, the effect is quite dramatic.
