Bobo Bedou Shield

Burkino Faso :   This one of a kind "Mask" or Shield is traditionally used by the Bobo Tribe.

These are worn by the men in the tribe as a dance mask or covering along with raffia costumes.  The Bedou mask is used mainly during initiation ceremonies paired with female masks.

Each mask is individually Hand crafted
